Cookie Notice
Kinnio uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage items. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.
Guest recognition cookie
When you reply to a Rally we set a secure, HTTP-only cookie so your browser is recognised the next time you open that Rally and you don't have to type your name again. It contains a random token only — no name, email or plan details. It expires after twelve months, or sooner if you remove your reply.
Sign-in session (organisers)
If you create an organiser account, your session is kept in your browser's local storage by our authentication provider so you stay signed in between visits. Signing out clears it.
Local drafts and preferences
While you're building a Rally, the draft is kept in your browser's local storage so a refresh or a sign-in step doesn't lose your work. It never leaves your device until you create the Rally.
What we don't use
No Google Analytics, no advertising networks, no social media pixels, no cross-site tracking, and nothing that profiles you across other websites.
Why there's no cookie banner
Consent banners exist for cookies that aren't essential — advertising, profiling and analytics. Everything Kinnio stores is strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for: keeping you signed in, remembering your reply, and not losing your draft. Strictly necessary storage of this kind doesn't require prior consent, so a banner would add friction without protecting you. If we ever add analytics, we'll ask first.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and site data for kinnio.com.au in your browser settings at any time. Doing so signs you out, forgets your saved drafts, and means you'll re-enter your details next time you reply to a Rally. Nothing else about your Rally changes.
